Truth is a spiritual process. Not settling for half-truths is an acid test. And perhaps this "edge" will give me some insight and relief from burnout and anxiety.
I alone am responsible for how I navigate each day of my life. My care team comes into play when I have questions or need a fresh perspective on what I'm struggling with. Make sure you've got people around you that you can contact when you need them.
Perhaps today is a day of rest. A day of appreciating exactly where I am, sitting beside my girlfriend's dog writing a little note of appreciation to myself.
It is time to evaluate all of the relationships in your life and set boundaries and priorities with each of them. Some people will need to be removed.
Today, you can stop fighting the monkeys in your mind. Today, you can befriend the entire circus. And as you gain mastery over the monkeys, turning your attention over and over again back towards the important goals in your life, guess what happens? You start making real progress.
