I don’t self-promote my life coaching business on this site much. But, I wanted to share a perspective that keeps coming back for my attention.
Working With People In Distress
When I am stressed out or depressed the part of my brain, my life, I lose is HOPE. (link to schedule a free call)
As a life coach, my goal is to find and supply more hope for you. What you can be hopeful about in your life? If you know where to look, it’s not hard to find. Hope. Many people, however, have lost their hopefulness. That’s where a few sessions with a life coach trained in mindfulness and finding the “next right action” for you, can help.
I bring hope. I am enthusiastic about giving you some tools for engaging with life on a higher level. You know what? If you are suppressing your fears with drugs or alcohol, you’re shutting yourself into a dark corner. Humans are meant to feel emotions. If your emotions are suppressed and shut down, you will have a difficult time identifying and heading toward things that give you hope. If you’re hopeless you often don’t go looking for hope, you look for confirmation that the world is falling apart and you’re going down with the ship.
The world can be stressful, full of wars, and civil unrest fueled by one side of our leadership. You can still find hope. It’s the only way up and out of this mess.
From hope springs happiness. Inner happiness. True happiness does not depend on the love or actions of others. The kind of happiness that is consistent even when life throws you hard lessons. When you are aligned with your hope, your purpose, your goals, you feel happy. When you are suppressing your feelings, fighting fear at all costs, and running into Tiks and Toks for escape, you’re missing out on hope. There is very little hope to be found scrolling.
Let’s begin a new path: the road to joy begins with a step, not a swipe.
Unlocking Strategies to Combat Anxiety
There’s no wonder benzos are highly addictive and overprescribed. We’re all feeling some anxiety. If you’re running from your fears, scrolling away the feelings, using a pill to dampen your mood, it’s going to be a dark and lonely road. You might be mellowed by the Xanax, but you’re also deadened.
I can help you find alternative ways to deal with anxiety, depression, hopelessness, and fear. My goal is to give you a sense of hopefulness that empowers you. Feel that feeling. Fight that good fight. Drop the things that are draining and hurting you. And for goodness sake, get off the Benzos!
A free “hello” can give you a sense of how finding joy and hope in your life can begin the change. Let go of all you cannot change: the past, regrets, actions, and words of others. Find the places you can change: eating healthy, sleep, exercise, and community. And work the plan to focus on ACTION and let go of RUMINATION. Don’t think about doing it, do it.
A life coach can help you find your hope again. That’s my favorite part of helping others. Schedule a free zoom call now.
